Customer Review: RX-V2700
I looked and researched many A/V receivers before deciding on this one. I am very pleased with the sound, ease of use, and many, many features. This unit is well worth the price paid, I would recommend to anyone looking for a powerhouse A/V controller. I have mine connected to a 50" plasma TV and a Yamaha upconverting DVD player. The speakers I chose for my system are two Cerwin-Vega CLS-215 for the front channel, a Klipsch center channel, and two JBL towers for the rear channel. I am currently only running a 5.0 system, but this unit will handle much, much more. I haven't the need for more at this point, as the Cerwin-Vega speakers I use have two 15" woofers in each cabinet. This arrangement has more bass than any subwoofer would produce in my opinion. All in all, a very powerful unit with loads of features. I have been running it very hard for about two weeks without any troubles at all.
Customer Review: Note: Uses Older HDMI 1.2a
I'm researching so I don't own. It's my understanding 1.3 is quite a difference in quality for 1080p Televisions. Probably not as noticeable on 1080i
